European Association of Political Consultants, the EAPC
... is a non-profit organization founded in Vienna, Austria, in 1996.
Initiated as a branch of the IAPC (International Association of Political Consultants), the Association has developed its own identity, but still goes on working side by side with the IAPC. Close contacts also exist to the ALACOP, the Latin American group, the AAPC (American Association of Political Consultants) and the APAPC (Asia Pacific Association of Political Consultants).
The main targets of the EAPC are:
- development, support and maintenance of democratic processes
- mutual exchange of information and experience
- support of co-operation and understanding beyond all borders
The EAPC sets a number of activities to achieve its goals. Firstly the Annual Conference which takes place in a different European City every year and where some of the best Political Consultants in Europe meet to discuss about Political communication and exchange experiences and new technologies.
The book presented here is another tool of the EAPC to achieve its goal to improve the quality of political campaigning in Europe through the exchange of experiences and the collaboration behind the borders.
